libpugixml-dev software package provides Light-weight C++ XML processing library (development), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libpugixml-dev
libpugixml-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libpugixml-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libpugixml-dev *
You will get with libpugixml-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
